Hokey Pokey Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

125g butter

½ to ¾ cup sugar

1 large cup flour

1 dessertspoon milk

1 dessertspoon golden syrup

1 teaspoon baking soda

STEPS

  1. Melt syrup and milk together and when nearly cool add soda and beat until frothy.
  2. Cream butter and sugar add golden syrup  mixture mix well.
  3. Add flour. If mixture is too soft to roll add a bit more flour.
  4. Roll into ball or place spoonfulls onto cold paper lined tray and press with a fork. Cook at 125 to 150c.
